NA College’s Foundation Apprenticeship (FA) in Engineering and Manufacturing aims to give learners the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge to enter a higher level apprenticeship in Engineering and the Advanced Manufacturing sector as well as other Engineering related industries. The programme is designed to provide participants with theory, practice and an industry placement at Nissan Sunderland.

This programme is designed to give young people the right qualifications and skills employers recognise and want. Benefits include:

  • 30 hours per week

  • Uniform and safety boots provided
  • Workshop and classrooms dedicated to the programme
  • Aimed at 16-19 year old’s
  • Functional Skills Mathematics
  • Functional Skills English
  • F1 Challenge Autodesk Inventor 3D, Reading and Interpreting Engineering Drawings, CNC Operation
  • Building adult sized Go Karts
