Debra Bowman has been involved in a project for Year 10 girls, giving them an insight into Engineering and Manufacturing as a career.

Debra went to Sacred Heart Catholic High School in Fenham for two sessions and then they came to NA college for two sessions in February.

They completed a four session project developing their CAD skills using Autodesk inventor to produce a design for a phone case. They then manufactured the cases using 3D printing

On their fourth session I brought in Victoria Liddle who  is an Engineering Placement Student in Battery Plant at Nissan. She discussed her route into engineering.
